"I am incredibly honoured and humbled to be appointed the Attorney General of Ontario, and continue to serve as Government House Leader. Also, proud to be a part of a strong team that is building Ontario up by investing historic amounts in infrastructure, making college and university more affordable and accessible, leading the fight against climate change, and building retirement security for workers. The new cabinet is a blend of continuity, experience and new ideas and energy. I am particularly proud of the Premier’s steps to achieving gender parity with women now making up 40% of our cabinet, and 50 per cent of the key Priorities, Delivery and Growth cabinet committee. With that, today marks a historic day for politics in Ontario. I am eager to get to work with my fellow Cabinet members and all caucus colleagues as we implement our four-part plan over the next two years. And lastly, thank you to my community for the trust and faith they have placed in me to serve Ottawa Centre."
